The Good Place by Michael Schur
The Good Place by Michael Schur shows us what New Earth leadership looks like and how we can reimagine Earth through the lens of continuous self-growth.
The TV series offers us 53 episodes to explore how to human, what’s the meaning of life and why we should all try to be better daily.
A philosophical exploration of the human mind and how doing bad things affects our psyche too, The Good Place is more than a series: it’s a manual that gives us a framework around how to live and how to beat the odds in a corrupted system.
Yes, life on Earth has only ever gotten more complex, despite the many technological upgrades and innovations that allow us to save time and money; it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to be a good person in the face of all the injustice and imbalance.
Our energy is now getting depleted, because we’re drowning in multiple choices that ultimately don’t matter, because they’re keeping us separated from our true nature, our Higher Self.
What’s worse, all the choices we must make on a daily basis all lead to unexpected and unintended consequences, because of how complex and corrupted life on Earth has become.
But worry not – there’s still hope for humanity.
Mission Human: It’s never too late to learn
The Good Place begins its exploration of humanity in the afterlife. The characters we are introduced to have already completed their lifetime on Earth, so now they get to review their life choices and enjoy the rest of their existence in a paradise that’s set in a faraway place.
The paradise turns to hell when people begin to reveal their imperfections and soon enough the chaos that humans experienced on Earth is now replicated in the place that should offer eternal bliss and peace.
Here comes the hero in shining armour – a Philosopher fully equipped with books, references and knowledge who will guide the perfectly imperfect humans towards rising above their limitations and their corrupted ways of living.
That’s the lesson all along!
But before we get there, let’s look into the problems that have corrupted our ways.
Earth’s messy, but we can fix the mess
Every problem that humans started, humans can fix.
The mess we’re seeing all around us on Earth has been created by us:
in the governments
at home
in the workplace
in friendships
at social events
in healthcare
in education
across most industries
We have been impacted negatively internally and externally for many generations now, due to never-ending wars, nations hungry for power and control, leaders that are seeking fame and status, boys and girls that are unable to become men and women (children stuck in arrested development in the vessels of grown adults), and the list goes on.
Yes, Earth is a mess, but it’s our mess, therefore, we can fix it.
Everything starts with the relationship we have with our own Self. The inner work not only transform ours life, but it inspires others to look inward, too.
That’s the silent revolution – using the power of self-growth to transform the whole world.
Accepting your limitations and making peace with your imperfections is how you can practice self-love.
But then it’s time evolve and elevate your consciousness. The only way you can do that is through conscious self-growth applied continuously!
The real purpose of being human
Every human being has a number of skills and gifts that they can use to be of service to humanity and align with a New Earth purpose as a Lightworker.
But even before they seek a higher calling, humans have been called to Earth to remember who they are and reconnect with their Higher Self, so that they can break the cycles that their Ancestors started.
The cycles of:
War
Conditional love
Narcissism
Jealousy and envy
Ignorance
Arrogance
Ill intentions
Dark energy
Curses and hexes
Hurting others
Abandonment wounds
Childhood trauma
Obsession with control
You cannot heal until you allow yourself to feel and the cycles mentioned above have caused us a lot of pain at an individual and at a collective level.
It is only through opening our hearts to feel the pain, then purge it and alchemise it into works of art or books or movies or a series of lessons, that we get to integrate it and become the cycle breakers.
The real purpose of being human is to be a good human being who’s committed to doing better every single day as they lead their life with an open heart.
It’s as simple as that!
Co-creating a New Earth together
What’s so brilliant about The Good Place is that it both shows us the problem in a very detailed and intricate manner, which allows us to give ourselves some grace, because we never stood a chance against the broken system.
But by the end of the series, we are able to see what New Earth leadership looks like and how we can re-design the planet: one industry at a time.
The reformation of humans is possible and we can make it happen across every single level and aspect of society.
We can reform both parents and prisoners, politicians and poets, financial experts and farmers, holistic healers and health practitioners, teachers and technicians, entertainers and entrepreneurs: everyone can get better and that’s precisely the point that should give us all hope!
Human can always get better
When you’re at the point of giving up, remember this – the Earth didn’t get destroyed precisely because you’re still here.
The Good Place is proof, a message from our Spirit Teams that there’s hope and it is worth fighting for a better future.
We are here, because we have chosen to be here.
Yes, our memories have been wiped, time and time again, yet we are doomed to keep remembering who we and why we’re here, because our consciousness can no longer be put down to sleep and brought back down to the lower levels of existence.
We are rapidly awakening and ascending and aligning with our Lightworker’s role that will support the integration of the higher levels of consciousness around the world and introduce new modalities of existence as part of the New Earth shift.
NEO or the New Earth Order arrived as a channeled message and now I know that it’s the vision that will allow us to shape the New Earth in its full glory, so we can bring about the next Golden Age on Earth.
I am both passionate about storytelling and leadership (and TV Series), so this post gives me great joy, because I know that through watching it – The Good Place – you will see and feel exactly what I experienced: hope for humanity!

(1) What has made being a good person on Earth impossible: life on Earth is so difficult and unbearable, it’s almost impossible for humans to evolve by default today – unless they get addicted to suffering and achieve true self-actualisation without much support, which only about 1% of humanity is able to do.
(2) What does your human life equates to and how are being judged for your actions during your lifetime on Earth: reality vs expectations (watch the next video)
(3) How humans are actually tested and judged through the point system that is corrupted beyond repair unless we actually invest time, energy and resources to reform the humans while simultaneously rewriting the rules by which we examine the “goodness” of humans
(4) How to test humans, judge their progress and help them evolve through self-growth & accountability: a true test of one’s character and their commitment to opening their heart, so that they can be forgiving, loving and channeling more Light on Earth.
